We've already reached the midway point of 2022, and in this quarterly recap blog we are excited to announce three new updates we've made to our clients' apartment community websites.
Before we detail those new features, we want to take this moment to report on some of the exciting things that have happened here at RentVision lately, too.
First, we're growing…in more ways than one! In May, we added six new interns, which is our largest class yet. Each has already had a notable impact in their role, and we're lucky to have them.
Not only is our team growing, but so is our work family! To date, our employees have welcomed four new little ones, and we have six more on the way! That doesn't include the couple of fur babies added, too.
Secondly, we're honored to announce that RentVision was named as one of the Best Places To Work in our hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska. We were recognized for our core values and overall excellent workplace culture.

But enough about us. Let's detail some of the changes we've made on our clients' apartment community websites in this past quarter.
We've given the Featured Floorplans scroller on the homepage of community websites a cleaner look. This change, and all others to follow, has been implemented on both desktop and mobile sites.
Prior to this update, the key details about each floorplan, including the bedroom/bathroom count, square footage, price, and advertised special, were all displayed within the individual cards (see example below).
Those important pieces of information are now shown in a small section below the card in the latest design. Prospective residents can not only see those details more easily, but also more of the photo showing the individual floorplan. Most importantly, these changes improve the color contrast of the cards, which helps with the overall accessibility of our websites. We're working towards making RentVision websites achieve Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Level 2.0 compliance.
The redesigned cards also now include updated availability status—a huge addition that will positively impact both our clients and their prospective residents during the leasing process.
The redesign we've done for the Featured Floorplans section also affects the Other Floorplans Scroller that's located on the bottom of the individual floorplan-specific pages.
Finally, the Other Communities Scroller shares the same design refresh as both the Featured Floorplans Scroller and Other Floorplans Scroller. This section, located at the bottom of the Amenities page, points prospective residents to other nearby communities in your property management company's portfolio, and includes each community's name, address, and distance from the community who's website they're currently visiting.
